Mary Ann was a graduate of the Sacred Heart School (1944). She was a cheerleader and drum majorette at Pringle H.S. A Salutatorian at Pringle H.S. (1948), she earned a 4-year scholarship to Misericordia College graduating as Valedictorian (1952). She received her Master's Degree from Glassboro State in 1970. Mary Ann was a Chemical lab Technician at Permutit. She then became a Chemistry Teacher at Bridgeton H.S., Rancocas Valley H.S., ending her career at Shawnee H.S. from 1971 until her retirement.
A viewing will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Lechner Funeral Home, 24 N. Main St., Medford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford. Burial will be private in Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Guided by her faith, Mary Ann loved every person, and through her passion of teaching, extended her love to thousands of students and colleagues throughout her lifetime.
"I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again."
