Born in Gwinnett County on Friday April 19, 1935, he was the 7th child of 8. He was the son of the late Thomas and Pearl Everett. He and Eugenia had been married for 64 years. He retired from Leiphart Chevrolet as a Painter. He loved NASCAR and Georgia Football. He spent his time these last few years outside with his cat Smokey. He loved talking to people and never met a stranger. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Stone Mountain.
He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Pearl Everett of Suwannee, Sisters, Sarah Elizabeth, Anne Devore, of Stone Mountain, GA, Netta Mann and Dean Segler of Conyers, GA, Lottie Bishop of Phoenix, AL. Brothers JC Everett of Jefferson, GA, and Eddie Everett of Centerville, GA. Sister in Laws, Sarah Hewatt of Stone Mountain, GA, Kathleen Hewatt of Loganville, GA. Brother in Laws Linwood "Wink" Hewatt, Reuben Mobley and John Garmon of Stone Mountain, GA,

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday April 23, 2022, at Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel, 1040 Main Street Stone Mountain, GA 30083 with
Paul Pittard officiating.
Interment will follow in the Eternal Hills Memory Garden 3594 US-78 W Snellville, GA. The following will serve as pallbearers, Charles Devore, John Devore, Glenn Segler, Larry Hewatt, Russell Hewatt, and Josh Hall.
The family will receive friends at Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday April 23, 2022.
