Patricia "Patsy" Ann Bell
FEBRUARY 24, 1945 – APRIL 18, 2022

Patricia "Patsy" Ann Bell, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on April 18, 2022 with her daughter by her side after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Patsy was born on February 24,1945 in Houston, Texas to Orner Jerry Tauber, Sr. and Eleanor Loewenstein Tauber.
Patsy graduated from Lamar High School, then attended Texas Christian University and Texas Tech University. She worked as a dental assistant and an office administrator for Arthur Smith Towing Company.
Patsy met the love of her life, Michael "Mickey" Lynn Bell and married him in July of 1977. She was a devoted wife, a role she wholeheartedly embraced. Patsy and Mickey enjoyed the Royal Oaks community and created memories with friends and family on and off the golf course. While Mickey was on the putting green, Patsy enjoyed traveling with friends and family. She loved exploring the beaches of the Caribbean islands and Mexico, traveling through Europe, and retreating to the mountains of Beaver Creek, especially to escape the Houston summers.
Patsy was committed to several community organizations throughout the years. She was a dedicated member of the Houston Junior Women's Club where she devoted countless hours to auctions, the development of a cookbook, and other leadership positions. Patsy was a regular volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House and a member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church. Patsy will be remembered for unconditional love and support, her homemade jams and jellies, and enjoying games with family and friends.
Patsy was best known for her enduring and steadfast love of her family, especially for her daughter, Jennifer Lynn Bell. Theirs was a mother/daughter relationship filled with beautiful memories, laughter and joy, and unconditional love and care. They created a uniquely beautiful, rare, and enduring bond that will be everlasting.
Patsy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael Lynn Bell, and her father and mother, O.J. Tauber Sr. and Eleanor Tauber. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Bell, brothers O.J. Tauber Jr. and his wife Lynn, David W. Tauber Sr., and his wife Lynda, Richard E. Tauber and his wife Anne, son in law Michael Beiser, grandchildren Justin Michael Beiser and his wife Chelsea, Tiffany Grimm, and Brandy Miller and her husband James, as well as many nieces and nephews that she cared for and considered her own. She will be greatly missed by many.
In lieu of flowers, Jennifer has requested donations to The Houston Junior Women's Club.
The family will host a visitation from 5-7pm on Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2pm at the Texas Liberty Mausoleum at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home followed by a private graveside ceremony.
