Donald Turner, age 73, of Crestview, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 18, 2022, after a brief stay at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He was born in Jackson, Kentucky, on September 8, 1948. He was a retired welder and fabricator for Mazak Corporation, in Florence. He had been a member of Licking Valley Baptist Church for many years. He loved fishing, collecting coins, his Harley Davidson motorcycle, wood working and his dog, Toby, but most of all spending time with friends and family, especially his grandsons. Although he had a quiet, gentle spirit, he had a wit that would make his grandsons laugh right along with him. His warm smile and the twinkle in his eyes will never be forgotten.

He leaves behind: his wife of 52 years, Doris Turner; two daughters, Stefanie (Scott) Borders and Stacey Turner; three grandsons, Jordan Borders, Jared Borders and Landen Vallejo; a brother, Dailey (Jan) Turner; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Preston and Evalee Turner; two brothers, James Turner and George Turner; and four sisters, Kathleen Aldridge, Ina Lee Raleigh, Juanita Napier and Ruby Bush.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, at Cooper Funeral Home, with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
