Eva Story Beatty, age 89, of Hector, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
She was born January 18, 1913 at Hector and was a daughter of the late James Irvin and Flora Edith Ballard Williams. She was the widow of the late Ernest "Bun" Story and the late Jack E. Beatty. Six brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Story Watkins of Hector; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest and Kay Story of Fort Smith and Jackie and Michelle Beatty of Springdale; eight grandsons and wives, John and Amanda Mosley of Hector, Robert and Tonya Mosley of Hector, Ernest and Pam Mosley of Farmington, New Mexico, Willie and Brenda Mosley of LeMoore, California, James Mosley of Hector, Alvin and Debra Watkins of Maumelle, Kenny and Angie Watkins of Hector and Jason Story of Memphis, Tennessee; four granddaughters and husbands, Robin and Larry Reed of Atkins, Rachel and Mike Waterson of Cecil, Susan and Bill Sharpe of Dallas, Texas, Kristi and Michael Lamoureux; 16 great grandsons, 8 great granddaughters and 1 great great grandson.
The body was cremated, with arrangements through Shinn Funeral Service.
A family conducted memorial service will be held at a later date.
