WILLIAM LEE GOATS, 54, of Duncan, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, Kan., with the Rev. Andrew Addis officiating. Interment will be under direction of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory of Hutchinson.

William Lee Goats was the son of Horace Ray Goats and Ruby Genell Hyde. He was born on November 13, 1953, in Luling, Caldwell, Texas, and died on January 9, 2008, in Duncan, Stephens, Oklahoma. He graduated from Hutchinson High School and Oklahoma Christian College. A resident of Duncan, Oklahoma, formerly of Hutchinson, Kansas; Guthrie, Oklahoma; and Coldwater, Kansas, he was a science teacher at Empire City High School, Guthrie, and also taught in Coldwater, Kansas for 30 years. He had also taught in Korea.
Survivors include one son, Parker Goats of Guthrie, OK; daughter, Michele Parker of Guthrie; one brother, Mike Goats of Arizona City, AZ.; and two sisters, Paula Ballinger of Trousdale and Suzi Rindels of Hugoton.
Mr. Goats was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services were attended Monday morning, January 14, 2008, at Fairlawn Burial Park with Rev. Andrew Addis presiding. Memorials may be given in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
