Funeral services for Mrs. Charlene Wells, of Sandersville, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 3 PM at the Buckeye Baptist Church, 2176 New Buckeye Road in East Dublin, Georgia. Reverend David Flowers, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Wells was born on Sunday, December 10, 1944, in Wrightsville, Georgia, to W. C., and Truvada Hines. She joined the Buckeye Baptist Church at an early age where she attended faithfully until she became ill. She later married Mr. Palmer Lee Wills over twenty-eight years ago. Mrs. Wells worked at Apparel Brand and Biljo until the factory closed. She then
enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her favorite pastimes were fishing, riding and eating out.

Mrs. Wells passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Truvada W. C. Hines, Annie Bell and James Wright, her son, Jerry Hines, grandsons, Shonterris Mason and Jerome Whipple, niece, Taylor Hines, sisters, Irene Sutton and Beatrice Williams and her brother, Willie Hines.
