John Edward Rose, 84, of Midland, died Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the Toni and Trish House in Auburn. He was born January 23, 1938, in Midland, son of the late Alfred and Hattie (Liedeke) Rose. On February 17, 1957, he married the former Lois Raye Duby in Auburn, IN. John was a veteran of the United States Navy having served aboard the USS Gearing, and was a retiree of Hi-Tech Heat Treating of Bridgeport. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and dominos. He was also a member of the American Legion in Temple.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lois Raye Rose on March 24, 2022, sons Kenneth and Jeffrey Rose, brothers Joseph and William Rose and sister Marie Rose.
