He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Agnes Josesphine Mills Ritchie; sisters, Mary Ann Ray and Lula Jane VanPortfleet and a grandchild, Dakota Ritchie.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Skees Ritchie; two children, James Ashley Ritchie of Elizabethtown and Mary Martina (Christopher) Hurst of Shepherdsville; two brothers, Russel Ritchie and Jerry Ritchie; three sisters, Barbara Banta, Patsy Sheeran and Elizabeth Calcatera; three grandchildren, Alyssa Hurst, Benjamin Ritchie and Michael Ritchie and one great grandson, Levi Ritchie.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continue after 9 a.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff on May 5th at 1:30 p.m.
