James was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for the City of Benton and a member of the Otter Creek United Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Franklin Moody and Zora Griffin Moody, brothers, Charley Moody and August Moody, sisters, Lois Hughes, Mildred Raper, and Christine Keen.
Survivors, wife, Linda Kay Moody, son, Ricky Andrew Moody, step-son, Kevin Clayton Bowman, daughters, Sandra Billingsly, step-daughter, Kimberly Sorrells, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM Saturday at Otter Creek United Pentecostal Church.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday before the services.
