Christopher "Kim" Marlin, 64, of Gainesville passed away on March 30, 2022. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Kim was born December 18, 1957 in Gainesville to Thomas William "Tony" and Dorothy (Hackler) Marlin.
Known to many as " Bird", he loved new cars, looking good and keeping up with things on around town! He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1976 and attended North Texas State University in Denton. He returned home to spend his adult career in Real Estate sales and appraisal. He proudly served on the City Council and as Mayor Pro-tem for Gainesville.
Kim is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Bill Williams. He is survived by his sister, Mickie Williams of Gainesville; his brother, Dr. Thomas William "Buff" Marlin of San Antonio and several nieces and nieces and great nephews.
