Virgil Jackson Ross Sr., 86, passed away at his home in Batesville, Mississippi surrounded by his family on May 9, 2020. He was born in 1934 in Olive Branch, Mississippi and worked as a service manager for Pepsi Cola.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Nell Westmoreland Ross.
Visitation will be from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm on Tuesday - May 12, 2020 at Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home of Hernando, 2470 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, Mississippi. A Graveside Service will follow at 2 pm at Lebanon Cemetery, 8691 Bethel Rd, Olive Branch, Mississippi.
He also leaves his three sons; Kenny Ross (Susie) of Troy, Missouri, Ronnie Ross (Cindi) of Batesville, Mississippi, and Johnny Ross (Ann) of Myrtle, Mississippi; (1) brother: John Ross (Elizabeth) of Ashland, MS; (9) Grandchildren; and (26) Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Louise Ross, his son Jackie Ross, his brother Don Ross and three sisters, Katherine Pounders, Mary Stewart and Shirley Ross,
