Joan Juanita Hux Bell, 77, of Strong passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 at CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs. She was born on March 9, 1944 at home in Mt. Moriah Community to the late Clarence and Mary Lee Harris Hux. Joan loved the Lord and was a member of several Ladies Bible Study groups over the years and instilled that love into her children and grandchildren. She worked as an assembler at Prescolite before retiring and becoming a Homemaker. Her love for her family was her greatest joy and she loved to cook for them. Joan will always be remembered for her chicken and dumplins, as well as her cakes.

Preceding her in death are her parents; sister, Amy Killingsworth; brother, Gary Hux; son, Mike Montgomery; and son-in-law, Donnie Mishenheimer.

Survivors include her daughter, Phena Loftin (Mike); husband, Eugene Bell; step-daughter Lisa Fife (Scott); grandchildren, Nicole Conley (Jessie), Michael Montgomery, J.W. Mishenheimer, Amanda Burton, (Chandler), Ethan Fife, Payne Fife, Jessica Sellers (Kyle), Courtney Mardi (Matt), William Bell, Ashley O'Neal (Tam); seven great-grandchildren; sister, Janey Endel (Bennie), brother, Russel Hux; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved to go to Aunt Joan's for the Holidays.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Olive Branch Methodist Church officiated by Bro. Doyce Whitton. Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.

Memorial Donations may be made to Olive Branch Cemetery Association in care of Kevin Hux 412 Mt. Moriah Rd. Junction City, AR 71749.
