Caroline S. Noll, 92, 28 N. Grant St., Palmyra, died Monday in the Palmyra Nursing Home, where she had been a resident the past three months. She was a former dress designer and women's fashion buyer.
A native of Dauphin County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel H. and Lydia Shenk Slesser, and the wife of the late Charles S. Noll, who died in 1954.
Mrs. Noll had been an organist at Fishburn United Methodist Church, Hershey, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Palmyra. Her church activities included membership in the choir and United Methodist Women. She was active in the volunteer sewing group for Cedar Haven until shortly before her death.
She is survived by a step-granddaughter, Barbara, wife of Carter Cobb, Sailfish, Fla.; four step great-grandchildren; a sister, Beatrice, wife of Ralph H. Sherk, Palmyra; three nieces, Linda Harrington, Highstown, N.J.; Kathryn Villfoth, Sinking Spring; and Betty Holder, Reading; and a nephew, Edward Benson, Milwaukee.

Services were held this morning from the First United Methodist Church, Palmyra, for Caroline Slesser Noll, 28 N. Grant St., Palmyra. She was the wife of the late Charles S. Noll. The Rev. W. Richard Kohler and the Rev. Daniel G. Herner, pastors of the church, officiated.
Entombment was made in the Gravel Hill mausoleum. Pallbearers were Walter Light, Clarence Allen, Warren Burtner, Edward Baker, Richard Rudy and Lloyd Spancake.
The Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra, was in charge of arrangements.
