He was born August 28, 1933, in Luxor, a son of the late James P. and Charlotte (Grimm) Hudson, Sr.
James was the owner of James P. Hudson & Son Trucking Company. He was a founding member of the West Point Volunteer Fire Department and served as an active member for many years. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Earl and Charles Chambers, and Richard and Thomas Hudson, Sr.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Shirley (McCune) Hudson, of Greensburg; two children, Carla A. Flores (Lou) and Greg Hudson (Jana); four grandchildren, Dominic, Luke, Ella, and Charlene; two sister -in- laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
