Charles Russell Price, 84, of Moreland passed away at his home on Sunday, April 17, 2022. Born February 21, 1938, he was the son of the late Oscar and Cynthia Massey Price. Charles was a member of Westside Community United Methodist Church and a US Army veteran. He was a loving husband and a devoted father and grandfather. Charles was an avid antique collector. He enjoyed growing flowers in his yard.
Charles is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Wilson Price; son, Danny Price of Hustonville; daughters: three daughters: Rita Mattingly of Harrodsburg, Robin Price of Danville, and Stacy Price of Danville; three brothers: Oscar (Sharon) Price, Jr. of FL, Tony (Michelle) Price of Shelbyville, and Michael (Vickie) Price of Middletown; two sisters, Lois (Roy) Walls of Bardstown and Edna (Jerry) Aldridge of FL; nine grandchildren: Stephanie, Shannon, Brittany, Haley, Nick, Peak, Paxton, Eric, and Ashley; and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation is 6-8 pm, Wednesday at Westside Community United Methodist Church. Funeral Service is at 11 am, Thursday at the church with Rev. Faron Owen and Rev. Robert Coppings. Pallbearers are Nick Price-Hancock, Haley Price-Hancock, Trey Releford, Doug Goens, Jeff Moberly, and Danny Price. Burial is at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
