Graveside services for James Robert Crowley, age 85 will be held Tuesday at 2:00 at Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Russell Gainey will officiate. Visitation will be following the service. Anyone who would like to sign the register and view Mr. Crowley may do so on Monday from 2-4 pm at the funeral home and the family will be receiving friends at other times at the residence of Mitzi Melton at 27011 Highway 151, McBee, S.C.
Mr. Crowley was born in Chesterfield a son of the late Henry C. Crowley and Alma Wilkerson Crowley. He served in the National Guard and was in Automobile Sales and loved his dog Leo.
Surviving are his wife, Trilby Jean Hall, Hartsville; one daughter, Dianne (Robert) Osbourne, Florence; one son, Jim Crowley, Myrtle Beach; two step daughters, Robyn (Roger) Myers, Camden and Jill Kelley, Hartsville; four sisters, Willene Rollins, Hartsville, Margie Hall, Hartsville, Linda (Bobby) Hayden, Hartsville and Ruby Norwood, Hartsville; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Crowley and two brothers, Thomas Crowley and Gabby Crowley.
