Uncle Billy Morphew passed away at his home 8 miles west of Gillham May 2. Rev. Holman of Gillham held burial services. The remains were laid to rest in Mill Creek cemetery in the presence of a large crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends. Uncle Billy was a good, kind-hearted man and will be greatly missed by his friends. Bert Hendrix, K. Byers and family, R. E. Keeney and family, Sam Capps and family, Tom Vanderbilt and family, all of Valley, attended the funeral.
