James Dwight McIntosh, 76, of Lewisburg, died Friday, April 15, 2022, at 6:30PM in Lewisburg. Mr. McIntosh was born July 23, 1945, in Muhlenberg County. He was a proud teamster union truck driver for ABF Trucking Company. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing the guitar. He was a perfectionist and a hard worker. He also enjoyed watching Kentucky basketball. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann McIntosh; sisters, Phyllis Newman and Wilda Laney; and parents, Melvin and Clorene McIntosh.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Daniel) Stephens; granddaughter, Kourtney Stephens; sisters, Sharon McIntosh and Helen Dukes; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 1:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Donnie Neal officiating. Burial in Carter Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 10:00AM at the funeral home.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Daniel) Stephens; granddaughter, Kourtney Stephens; sisters, Sharon McIntosh and Helen Dukes; and several nieces and nephews.
