RAY LOUIS LOVE was born December 8, 1928 to the late Leroy Love, Sr. and Ethel Young Love. This was the beginning of a journey that spanned over 79 years. On January 1, 2008, the Lord's plan of life had been completed. He leaves a loving wife, Jennifer A. Chester-Love; five daughters, Cynthia (John) Clay and Linda Love of Cleveland, OH, Tachika (Derrick) Love-Anderson, Jasmine Love, Elisha Chester, all of Memphis; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Geraldine Taylor and Venorea Hoskins of Memphis; two brothers, Leroy (Marie) Love of Memphis and George (Delores) Love of Colorado Springs, CO; three brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. And a special friend, and neighbor, Steve Cobb, who kept an eye out for his friend. The service is Sat., Jan. 12 at Hopewell M.B.C., 334 Ashland at 11:00 a.m. Interment Jan. 16. at West TN State Veterans Cemetary 11:00 a.m. (Published in The Commercial Appeal on 1/11/2008.)
