Kristine was born to George Schreiber and Priscilla Riddle Screiber. She grew up in southern California, graduating from Whittier High School. Her humor and joy for life was evident from an early age. She loved to tell her favorite story from high school – on the day all school clubs were supposed to have their group picture taken, Kristine and her friend decided it would be fun to show up for every club picture. When the yearbook came out that June, people were surprised to see that Kristine Schreiber had belonged to every club on campus!
Kristine's favorite things in life included Elvis, traveling, her beloved Australian Shepherd dogs, and her family.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 31 years, David Caple, and her son, Keith Borson. Her dogs Sydney and Sheila will miss their momma also.
Kristine was active in many groups and organizations, including volunteering her time to tutor children learning English. She was also involved with and loved being part of her church. She loved meeting new people and was a true friend to everyone she met.
