Rebecca Chandler Talbert former educator (teacher, counselor, and principal) in the District of Columbia Public Schools quietly and peacefully entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Riderwood Senior Living Complex in Silver Spring Maryland. She was predeceased by her husband, Preston T. Talbert, and her parents Charles and Amanda Chandler. She is survived by her sisters, Mildred C. Thomas and Gwendolyn C. Watson and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until hour of service at 11 a.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 926 11th Street NW, Washington DC.
