Sacramento, California - Jose Juarez was born on August 2nd, 1927, Jose passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 20th, 2022, He was a loving father, devoted husband, and a good friend. Jose was an extremely hard worker, he started working for the Southern Pacific Railroad as an engineer in 1944, where he stayed for 23 years before moving on to work for the County of Sacramento department of Waste Management and Recycling for 36 years before finally deciding to retire.
Jose was married to the love of his life, Jessie Juarez for 49 years, they had 5 wonderful children, 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Jose was survived by his Children, Mary Espinosa, Margaret & Robert Roma, Bertha Zabala, Michael & Vivian Juarez, Dorothy & Victor Gonzales, and Ricky Juarez.
Services will be held on Monday April 18th, 2022, for rosary and viewing at 5:00 – 8:00 pm at St. Mary Chapel, final burial will be on Tuesday April 19th, 2022, at 10:00 am at St. Mary Cemetery & Funeral Center, 6509 Fruitridge Rd. Sacramento, Ca. 95820
