Nancy (Wellman) Mason passed away on April 8, 2022.

She was born in Port Huron, Michigan.

Nancy was the daughter of John and Clara Wellman. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University, where she met the love of her life Bob Mason.

When Bob went into the US Army, they traveled to Europe and lived in Bremerhaven, West Germany. Nancy taught students on the Army base there.

Once back in the USA, they lived in several locations, to include Michigan, Kentucky, Georgia, Virginia, and finally putting down roots in Rhode Island. Nancy taught elementary school here in North Kingstown. She was a member of the North Kingstown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed painting, cooking, gardening, traveling, and especially going to Michigan to visit family. After meals, she never turned down a sweet treat. She was always working on a puzzle, with the next one on deck.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 63 years and their daughter Serena. She is also survived by her brother in law Larry Alger, and many nieces and nephews in Michigan.

A memorial service was held on April 19th, 2022 at the North Kingstown United Methodist Church, 450 Boston Neck Rd, North Kingstown, RI 02852.
