PORTSMOUTH – Cynthia Boykin Grant, 62, of the 2900 block of Elliott Ave. passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022 in her home. She was born on December 19, 1959 in Portsmouth to the late Horace and Christine Liverman; and worked for Columbia Gas with over 43 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Liverman.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Keith Grant; a daughter, Holly Whistler and husband Rob; a son, Jason Boykin; three brothers, Ivan Liverman and wife Catherine, Martin Liverman and wife Nina and Gary Liverman and wife Liz; three grandchildren, Zayleigh, Abigail and MacKenzie; a niece, Jennifer Frye and husband Timothy; great niece, Emma; and special lifelong friends, Beth and Tim Jones.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7:30 PM on Wednesday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel.
