Kenneth Anthony Watson, 78, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, passed away at home on April 13th after a brief battle with lung cancer. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.

Ken was born on December 10, 1943 to Walter and Nora Watson in the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan, New York. After graduating from Power Memorial Academy in 1962 he studied economics at St. John's University ('66), where he then went on to earn his Master of Business Administration ('69).

After graduation, he worked as a Vice President of Financial Planning for McGraw Hill for 13 years. This kickstarted a career in finance, and Ken went on to hold prominent roles at Chronar, the Palmieri Company, and Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company. He started Sayre Associates in 1998 where he worked with Consumer First Insurance, MIIX Insurance, and New Jersey Title Insurance. Ken shared his love of economics as an adjunct professor at St. Peter's University and Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey.

Ken and his wife Lorri permanently relocated to Florida from New Jersey in 2019. On most days, Ken could be found in his backyard – having a Bailey's or working on his pool and landscaping. His favorite pastimes included cheering on the New York Giants, analyzing stock performance, deep sea fishing, researching his ancestry, and playing cards.

Ken was predeceased by his son, Keith Watson; and is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lorri. He leaves behind four children, Kelly Davis and her husband, Scott, Kevin Watson, Kris Watson and his wife, Jodi, and Elizabeth Norton and her husband, Michael. He also leaves behind six adoring grandchildren, Jake and Justin Davis, Kyle and Ava Watson, and Rockwell and Calvin Norton.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ. Family remembrances will be shared beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Queens, NY.
