She was a very hard worker and worked in the orchards, packing house, clothing store and enjoyed working in the cafeteria at the college. Mabel and Glen managed an apartment for years. Mabel enjoyed bowling, curling, golfing and shuffleboard. She loved watching sports on TV, especially curling and baseball. Mabel loved to bake and there was always a treat when you visited. Mabel also liked to serve others and did so for many years with the ladies auxiliary of the Legion. She will be greatly missed but not forgotten by her husband Glen and those who loved her. Glen wishes to thank her doctor, Dr. Griswold for many years of health care. First Memorial Funeral Services handled her cremation and there will be a private family gathering at a later date.
