Marion E. McCormick, 82, of Newtown Square, PA, died March 31, 2022 at Sunrise Senior Living of Newtown Square, where she made her home since October of 2019. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was a graduate of John Bartram High School and had been employed as Director of Volunteer Services at Presbyterian Hospital for many years before retiring in 1995.

She was a good and faithful Christian servant and as a member of Woodland Baptist Church in SW Philadelphia/Kingsessing she taught Sunday School. When Woodland Baptist closed, many of the remaining members joined Lansdowne Baptist Church. Marion was among the group who came to Lansdowne Baptist where she continued her service by participating in many activities, fund raisers and working diligently as the financial secretary for many years. Marion took delight in being a member of the Ladies Aid Society at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Naturally artistic and partial to the color red, Marion was an avid crafter, took care of the neighborhood cats and delighted in God's creation, most especially when the blue sky was loaded with white puffy cloud formations, colorful flowers came to bloom and she loved the arrival of spring and fall. She was the beloved daughter of Harry and Florence McCormick. Survivors: include her church family and friends.

Service: Memorial Service will be 11am, Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Toppitzer Funeral Home @ Arlington, 2900 State Rd; Drexel Hill, 19026, where friends may call after 10:30 am. Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
