Matt's career as a salesman began in his teenage years and he found success with large office supply companies across Tennessee. His charming personality and attention to detail with his clients carried him to record-breaking achievements in sales.
With Jesus as his Savior, Matt was guided by faith, especially in the most challenging days of his life. His childhood revolved around the activities of the churches in which his family served, and he and Laurie raised their girls with the same commitment to service and fellowship.
Being a husband and father was the joy of Matt's life. He also enjoyed rooting for the University of Memphis Tigers basketball team, collecting comic books, reading, and sharing time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife and daughters, Matt is survived by his parents, Russ and Beverly Marsh; brother, Peter Marsh (Courtney); sister, Jennifer Dixon (Rob); and multiple nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother, James Clay Marsh (Baran) and his loving grandparents.
A celebration of Matthew's life will be held Saturday April 23, 2022, at 2pm at Arlington Abbey, 6183 Quintard Street, Arlington, TN.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations in his honor to The American Heart Association.
