Mrs. Blevins died Friday, Oct. 6, 1995, at Brandon Woods Retirement Community.
She was born April 18, 1899, in Home City, the daughter of William P. and Rosa Duver Cook.
She lived in Lawrence most of her life and was a homemaker and a self-employed seamstress. She lived at Valley View nursing home from 1978 until a month ago when she moved to Brandon Woods.
Mrs. Blevins was a member of First Christian Church in Lawrence and was active in Odd Fellows Lodge activities.
She married William Henry Blevins on Sept. 22, 1916, in Topeka. He died April 13, 1980.
She is survived by a son, Leslie W. Blevins Sr., Lawrence; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
