Jeffrey Clinton Caldwell, 52, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on April 10, 2022. He was born August 10, 1969, in Mineral Wells, Texas, at the Crazy Water Hotel to Jesse and Judy Caldwell. Jeff graduated from Mineral Wells High School and then attended Texas A&M Kingsville where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology and was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He worked for Freeport McMoran as the Assistant Manager of the San Tomas Hunting Camp at the Encino Division of the King Ranch for 26 years.
Jeff was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved training and working with his hunting dogs. He was a caring, giving and devoted husband to his wife and father to his sons. Jeff loved unconditionally without reservation. He loved his family life raising three boys, attending and supporting all their activities, as they grew into fine young men. Jeff honored, loved and respected his parents who were an important part of his life. He cherished the time he was able to spend with his brother.
Jeff enjoyed all friendships that will never be forgotten. He had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest until that day God called him home.
He is survived by his parents, Jesse and Judy Caldwell; his wife, Stephanie Caldwell and sons, Dillon Layman, Kelly (wife) and Grayson (grandson), and Dalton Sanders and Meadow (wife), and Dustin Sanders and Savannah Olson (girlfriend); Jerry and Gayla White (in-laws); brother, Jason Caldwell and children, Ethan and Kyra of Mineral Wells; cousins, Becky Plumlee of Possum Kingdom Lake and Mike Radford of Mineral Wells.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, Ellis and Norma Northcutt and Ed and Hazel Caldwell and aunt, Avis Radford.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 2:00PM at Padre Island Baptist Church. Interment will be on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2:00PM at Bosley Cemetery in Santo, Texas.
