Cathy (Edwards) Richardson, age 75, of Ford City died on April 14, 2022 at Alle Kiski Select Specialty from complications following heart surgery in January.

She was born on March 6, 1947 in Kittanning to the late Robert Jay and Mary Alice (Schall) Edwards.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Lee Edwards who died at birth.

Cathy was retired from The Social Security Administration. Cathy liked attending family get togethers and the family looked forward to her deviled eggs. She looked forward to her card playing group schedule and worked all appointments so they would not conflict with those dates. She was appreciative of assistance with electronic devices, as she had a fondness for pen and paper. She liked her TV shows and had her DVR at full capacity of her favorite movies and soap operas.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory a brother, David Jay (Susan)Edwards and their six children, Andrew (Beth) Edwards, Adam (Billie Jo) Edwards, Elizabeth (Michael) Fiscus, Russell (Andrea) Edwards, Matthew (Stephanie) Edwards and Clare (Steve) Cowen. Her cousins Don (Barb) Stubrich, Jan Stitt, Shirley (Steve) Good, and Carol (George) Lysakowski will miss her as well.
