Dianne M. Stevens, 77, entered through Heaven's Gates on Saturday afternoon, April 2, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital in Binghamton, NY. Dianne was predeceased by her husband, William E. Stevens; her parents, Joseph and Caroline (Ruspantini) Paoletti; her sister and brother-in-law Judy (Paoletti) and John R. Hayes Sr.; brother-in-law, Harold Hogan; best-friend, Sandra Pilkington; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. Dianne is survived by her beloved daughter and devoted son-in-law, Concetta (DellaRocco) and Enzo Ferragamo; her most treasured "angels" granddaughters, Margherita and Adrianna Ferragamo; her two brothers and sister-in-law, Joseph, Robert and Jody Paoletti; cherished sister Maria Hogan; saintly Aunt Tina Ruspantini; sister-in-law Letty Stevens; her amazing nieces and nephews; Joseph Paoletti, MaryAnn and Andy Young, Steven Paoletti, Caroline and Frances Vizvary, Catherine and James Baker, Kimberly and Mark Kittinger, Michael and Shawna Hayes, Bobby and Wendy Paoletti, David Paoletti and Michele Paoletti; best-friend, Gloria Fischer; the rest of living friends; her aunts, uncles and cousins with a special thanks to grand-niece Lauren Young and grand-nephew Michael Young who helped their "Grandma DD" many times over the years. Dianne worked 25 years at her most cherished job as a nurse for Dr. George B. Werner, of Ophthalmic Associates of the Southern Tier which eventually branched out to add an incredible group of fabulous eye surgeons. Dianne eventually retired in her nursing career after working many years for Dr. Bertram in Albany, NY. Dianne and Bill finally moved back to her roots in the southern tier of NY. Dianne was a sister, aunt, loving mother and cherished grandmother who absolutely loved doting over her granddaughters and had no shame in spoiling them as much as possible. Dianne adored her nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Dianne is probably most famous for her cooking expertise of having created the most impressive appetizers, entrées, and desserts. Dianne had an amazing smile and took a genuine interest in any story anyone cared to share (even when interrupting her from reading a book). She will be greatly missed.
