Clarence "Albert" Jones age 66 of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away quietly and unexpectedly at his home Monday August 30, 2021.

Albert was born January 17, 1955 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Arlie Betty "White" Jones and Russell Norman Jones.

While still a baby his family moved to Ponca City where he attended Jefferson Elementary, West Jr. High and graduated from Ponca City Sr. High School in 1973,

While in high school Albert was among the first male cheerleaders on the newly formed Ponca City Wildcats co-ed cheer squad. His favorite after school and summer activities were spending time at Lake Ponca with his friends, Bluestem Lake in Pawhuska with his cousins, riding motorcycles with his buddies and riding horses on trail rides with his dad and siblings.

After graduation Albert worked for Humpty Dumpty Super Market, he was night manager for Quik Trip on West Grand, he worked as a metal fabricator at Ponca Fab and left there to purchase the Service Master Cleaning and Restoration business in 1989 where he took pride in helping families and businesses put their properties back together after a fire or flooding.

He maintained that business until he took a position as an operator at Mid-America Door Company in 2000 where he retired March 2021 after 21 years of dedicated service.

In 1985 his son Justin Albert Jones was born. Albert was a proud father and you could see his face light up anytime someone would ask about his son. Albert always joked and said "well he's Justin-other-Albert". He loved telling you about and showing pictures anytime he could.

Nothing made him more excited until he became a Grandpa to Mason Christopher and Addison Lily Jones. Even though he hadn't quite figured out everything about todays technology, he was so thankful that he could "facetime" with them anytime he got a chance.

To Albert, nothing was more important than spending time with family and he was definitely part of a very large one! He was the youngest of five brothers and the "older" brother to his three sisters. He had many aunts and uncles, tons of nieces and nephews and cousins. Family reunions were huge and Albert was always pulling "pranks" or doing something funny to make sure everybody was laughing and having a good time! He was definitely a favorite among the kids!

Albert is survived by his Son Justin Jones and his grand-children Mason and Addison all of Utah, his brothers, Richard Jones and Jeanette, Gary Lee Jones and Cheryl, Larry Jones, Glenda Lowrie and Martin, Beverly Wright and Rob, and Sally Holloway and Kenneth.

He is also survived by his bonus siblings, Bud Revard, Joyce Bentham and Debbie Revard Jones.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents and one big brother, Tommy Dale Jones in 1993.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate Alberts life will be held at 11:00a.m. Saturday September 11, 2021 at the Community Christian Church, 2109 West Grand, Ponca City with Pastor John Waterloo officiating.

There will be a dinner immediately following for family and close friends to be able to reminisce and share stories with each other!

Albert's final resting place will be with his mother at Odd Fellows Cemetery in the days to follow.
