Barbara was born on Oct. 14, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Walter A. Stanford and Mary (Kukosh) Stanford of Sharon, Pa.
Barbara was married to the late George W. Rogers.
Barbara worked for Nabisco Company, and then at Bell Telephone as a phone operator for 32 years.
Barbara was a loving mother. She loved spending time making blankets for her family, crafting, traveling and going camping. Barbara was loved dearly by her six children who adored her.
Barbara will be deeply missed.
Barbara is survived by two sisters; two brothers; and her six children, George Rogers of Arizona, Jessie Anthony and her husband, Houston, of Butler, Nadine Wampler and her companion, Jim, of Clarksburg, W.Va., Chuck Rogers and his companion, Janet, of Butler, Bert Rogers and his companion, Sue, of Mercer, and Barbara Cadiente and her husband, Richard, of Butler.
Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Barbara was preceded in death by one sister; one brother; one grandson; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; and one daughter-in-law.
ANTHONY — Friends of Barbara J. Anthony, who died Tuesday, April 12, 2022, will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. Friday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev. Jim Lewis officiating.
Private interment will be held in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
