Cecil David Whiteside, age 82 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away April 14, 2022 at his home. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Haleyville.

The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Haleyville. Memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. with Bro. Mitch Nethery officiating.

Cecil is survived by his wife, Judy Ann Whiteside; children, William Bret (Missy) Whiteside, Dana Jean (Tracy) McNutt and David Sean (Celeste) Whiteside; grandchildren, Will (Sarah) Whiteside, Drew (Summer) Whiteside, Meredith McNutt, Trey McNutt, John Whiteside and Posey Whiteside; great grandchildren, Slade and Blakely Whiteside, Vera and Kyle Whiteside and Jaycee McNutt; several nephews and nieces; and comfort companions, Molly and Fred.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Eugene and Winifred Mae Whiteside; brothers, Dick, Jim, Bruce and one infant brother.
