Miss Patricia A. Cooper
October 26, 1951 - April 14, 2022

Patricia A. Cooper, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, was welcomed into Heaven on Thursday night, April 14, 2022, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA at the age of 70.

Patricia was a loving, caring, and compassionate nurse at Resthaven Living Center for 30 years. She was well known for her humor and making others laugh.

She is survived by her brother, Jackie Cooper (Denise), her sister, Derinda Hughes (Toby), her nephew, Adam Hughes (Erin), her niece, Jennifer Rogers (Noah), and numerous great nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much. She also leaves behind some very special friends who have remained close since childhood: Pam Nastasi Alexander and Faye Harris Foust; and leaves behind her friend of many years who was like her sister, Paulette Owen. Also a very dear friend, Teresa Medrano, and her daughters, Anna and Bonnie, who Patricia loved like her own.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Dudley Cooper, her grandparents, James and Eunice Cooper, and Grace and Ovead Corkern.

The family would like to thank Resthaven Living Center, and a special Thank You to St. Tammany Hospital Hospice for the wonderful care in her last days. And, a special thank you to her special "family member," Judy Hughes, for unselfishly giving of her time to sit with her during her final days.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, April 21st, at 11:00 at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA with Rev. Chad Jenkins officiating.
