David Scott May, 50 of Jacksonville, Texas, passed away August 22, 2021.

David was born September 1,1970 in Rusk, Texas. He lived the majority of his life in the East Texas area.

David loved being outdoors and later in life finally found his dream job where he got to do just that. He started his own landscaping business where he got the best of both worlds; being outdoors and helping people.

He is survived by his 3 children: Daughter, Devin and Dustin Kerr; Daughter, Darah and Lucas Leonard; Son, Dayne May; Mother, Linda and Richard Heidelberg; Brother Ronnie and Tamara May; Half-Brother; Kyle May, Half-Brother, Michael and Crystal May; Half-Brother Kevin May; Step-sister; Lara Heidelberg; and his 3 grandchildren: Kensleigh Leonard, Piper and Barrett Kerr.

Proceeded by: Father, Gary Edward May and step-brother Gatner Heidelberg.

Due to Covid the family will be having a private memorial.
