1344 Corporal Robert Patrick Norton Robertson, 5th Victorian Mounted Rifles. From Portsea, Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia. A station overseer. Volunteered for service in South Africa duiring the Second Anglo Boer War. He was killed in action near Middelkraal, about 65 km north east of Middelburg.
