William was a simple man with a big heart. He would do anything for his family and adored his grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and playing horseshoes. He was a retired U.S. Army war veteran.
Left to honor his memory, are his children, William Joseph Scott, Jr.; Thomas Scott and his wife Nikki; Angela Hatcher; and Christopher Scott, five grandchildren, Hailey; Abagail; Sierra; Lila; and Jace, and one great-grandson, Karter.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Pearl Scott, one brother, Eugene Scott and two sisters, Mary Rose Reams and Agnes Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Big Clifty. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
