Steven Ray Campbell moved onto his eternal home with the LORD on September 24, 2021 at the age of 60. Steven was born to Jimmie and Gladys Campbell on September 30, 1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Steven was the oldest of 5 children, he always loved his brothers and sister; family was everything to him.
Steven met the love of his life, Gayla through her mother's matchmaking skills. Steven loved Gayla with all that he had, she truly was his rib. Gayla lovingly remembers her husband of 39 years as a beautiful man inside and out, who was the best kisser. Steven and Gayla were blessed with 3 children who love them dearly. Steven loved his children, their spouses, and his 7 grandchildren.
Steven was the ultimate role model of a man of God, Pastor, son, brother, husband, son in law, brother in law, father, pawpaw, and friend. Steven was very handy, crafty, hilarious, and kind. Steven made a significant impact on numerous people's lives whether he knew it or not. He will be incredibly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM for immediate family, then 12:00 - 8:30 PM for friends of family at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway Avenue in Moore, Oklahoma.
Funeral services for Steven will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the New Beginnings Worship Center, located at 1200 SW 44th Street in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel in Moore.
