Bruce was originally from East Orange, NJ and raised in Boston, MA; entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the age of 75 years, in San Antonio, Texas.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Paul D. Ross, and Norma M. Ross (Keefe), Boston, MA; and by his infant son, Mark Andrew Ross. Also predeceased by brother Brian Ross; sisters, Diane, Beverly, and Elizabeth (Ross)Cowles.
Survivors include daughters, their mother, siblings, grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Bruce attended high school in Boston, MA, where he was selected to serve in the US Army in 1967 (Vietnam era), and was eventually stationed at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX, reaching the rank of SP4. After his discharge from the Army, Mr. Ross held several jobs, while attending college. First at San Antonio College, then at Southwest Texas, and Our Lady of the Lake University, and finally completing his college education at Trinity University's English Department. His final employment was with SWBell/AT&T, from which he retired.
