Funeral services for Mrs. Marguerite Joy Rodriguez will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022, at The Lighthouse Church, Oakdale, with Reverends Jerry Odom and Brandon Goynes officiating. Interment will follow in Paul Cemetery, Forest Hill, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Rodriguez, 47, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, in her residence.
She loved spending time with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra McClung.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one son, Christopher Rodriguez, of Oakdale; two daughters, Miranda Rodriguez, of Baton Rouge, and Kristal Nolen, and her husband, Lee, of Oakdale; her father, Leo Laird, of Oakdale; five brothers, Cody Laird, of Oakdale, Shane Picard, of Grand Isle, Byran Fogleman, of Elizabeth, Chad Goleman, of Hineston, and Michael Laird, of Oberlin; and seven grandchildren, Ryleigh, Adysun, Jacie, Elye, Jody, Bryson, and Kobee.
A time of visitation will be held at The Lighthouse Church, Oakdale, on Friday, April 15, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
