Carolyn J. Warner, age 86 of Auburn and formerly of Englewood, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Lutheran Life Village at Pine Valley in Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Warner was born on February 27, 1936 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Scott and Mina (Quartz) Glover.

She married James C. Warner on August 30, 1979 in Auburn. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2014.

Mrs. Warner worked as a nurse's aide at DeKalb Memorial Hospital in Auburn for 10 years. After her years working at DeKalb Memorial Hospital she cared for people by working in private home healthcare for 25 years. After their retirement she and Jim lived in Englewood, Florida while spending their summers in Michigan's Upper Peninsula near Curtis, Michigan. After Jim passed away in 2014 she moved to Auburn to be closer to her family. Family was very important to Carolyn. Cooking for them and feeding them brought her much joy. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Daughter and son-in-law; Natalie and Steve McDaniel of Auburn.
Son and daughter-in-law; Larry and Lorraine Link of Butler.
Son; Dan Link of Auburn.
Daughter and son-in-law; Rebecca and Brian Johnson of Hudson.
Son and daughter-in-law; Robert and Tara Link of Englewood, Florida.
Step son and daughter-in-law; Russell and Tracy Warner of Auburn.
Step daughter; Vicki Warner of Fort Myers, Florida.
Step son and daughter-in-law; Roger and Jocelyn Warner of Riverview, Florida.
Step son and daughter-in-law; Rodney and Pam Warner of Auburn.
20 grandchildren and their spouses; Matt Link, Marcia and Gregg Hoeffel, Bryan and Liza McDaniel, Sara and Joe Riecke, Christopher and Loren McDaniel, Rachel and Bryan Etzler, Wesley Link, Danielle Link, Brendan Link, Emily and Dylan Smith, Evan Rehl, Mina Link, Maddie Link, Cora Link, Stefanie and Ryan Ramsey, Bonnie and Bryan Wellman, Holly and Cyrus Bowman, Kayleigh and Matt Kurtz, Katelyn and Ryan Green and Justin and Mel Warner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; James Warner, one great grandson; Ethan Riecke and one half-sister; Jackie Volpe.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.

Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation on Monday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Chaplain Michael Sprunger officiating.

Burial will take place following the funeral service at Fairfield Cemetery in rural Corunna.

Memorial Donations may be made the DeKalb County Humane Society, 5221 US 6, Butler, Indiana 46721 and Parkview Hospice, 1900 Carew Street, Suite 6, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805.
