David Cord Hewitt, 32, of Branford, FL passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. Cord was born on September 7, 1988, lived all of his life in the Branford area, and loved being in the outdoors experiencing all that nature had to offer. The house was always full of some creature he caught and let loose. He loved fishing more than food but loved being a father more than anything. He was a great dad and enjoyed taking both of his kids fishing. Cord was a scavenger and treasure hunter who found great joy in giving away what he found to family and friends. He worked at LKQ in Lake City and will be sorely missed by many family and friends.
