Dennis Lyle Powers, age 62, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Doctor's Medical Hospital in Modesto, CA. He was born on August 23, 1955 in Oakdale, CA to Larry Powers and Delores (Adams) Powers.
He was a 1974 graduate of Grace Davis High School and worked the majority of his life in the hotel/hospitality field. Although he worked in Lake Tahoe, Pacific Grove, and Parker, CO, Dennis lived the majority of his years in Modesto, CA.
Dennis truly lived life to the fullest through the simple pleasures of: enjoying friends and family, being in the out-of-doors, golfing, fishing, training the family dog, and of course, always avidly supporting his beloved SF Giants and 49'er teams.
Dennis was predeceased by his father, Larry Lyle Powers, and is survived by his loving mother, Delores Powers, brother Jerry Powers (Mike), and sister, Karen Powers all of Modesto, Dennis is also survived by his nieces, Kelly Verduzco, Lindsey Torres (Lance), Halle Aqueche, and nephew, Bryan Verduzco (Brittney).
As per Dennis's wish, there will not be any services.
