While Marita was waitressing in her parent's restaurant, she met her husband, Russell. They were married November 23, 1960. Their love remained strong until Russell's death in October 2020, just shy of their 60th anniversary.
Marita loved dancing, and her favorite times were when she and Russell were traveling around the country square dancing and making friends.
Marita is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Kyle) Watson, of Altus, OK; Diane (Bob) Cooper of Branson, MO; and Misty (Scott) Morse of Vail, AZ; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Anne (Neil) MacInnis of Dennis, MA.
She was preceded in death by her husband Russell; son, Timothy Roscover; and grandson Joel Watson.
A memorial service will be held at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on July 15, 2022 @ 11am, followed by a luncheon at The Academy Hotel at 12:15 pm.
