Robert Allen Collins, age 56 of Mishawaka, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Bob was born August 1, 1965, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Howard Leon Collins and Helen Louise (McDaniel) Hanley.
He is survived by his children Krystal (Terry) Shock and Kyle Collins, both of South Bend and Dakota Collins of Mishawaka. His grandchildren, Elena and Raleigh Shock survive as well. Also surviving are his siblings Howard Radican of Michigan, Cindy (Dan) Coffman, Carmen (Carlos) Sanchez, Melvin (Kelly) Mahler, and William Collins, all of South Bend.
There will be no visitation or services for Bob. Cruz Family Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
Bob attended Riley High School and was employed for many years as a Union contractor in the construction industry. He will be remembered as a free spirit who loved riding his motorcycle in any kind of weather, and he taught himself to become an excellent mechanic. He was generous with his time and enjoyed riding in charity rides or fundraising rides for local causes such as "Get wet for a Vet." Most of all, Bob loved his family. He will be remembered for his kindness and the love shown to his children, grandchildren and siblings.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Collins family to help with final expenses.
