PAGELAND -- Mr. Plyler, 45, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at his residence.
Memorial service is Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 6:30 PM at First Baptist Church. Visitation is following the service.
Mr. Plyler was born in Monroe, NC to Shirley Q. Plyler and the late Joe Roger Plyler. He was the Past Master of Mt. Moriah Lodge #58, Past President Sandhill Shrine Club, former Pageland Dispatcher & Sgt., former Chief of Police-Chesterfield, member of Pageland Fire Dept. & Rescue Squad, former Chairman of Pageland Red Cross.
Survivors include his mother Shirley Q. Plyler; grandmother Bertha Q. Little, both of Pageland; brothers Roger Plyler of Charlotte, and Joey Plyler and wife Betsy of Pageland; sister Cindy Hicks and husband Billy of Easley, SC and Terry Langley and husband Joe of Lancaster, SC; also one niece Alisha Hunter; nephew Grayson Plyler; and great-niece Katelyn Hunter.
Memorial may be sent to Rescue Squad, 110 N. Oak St, Pageland, SC 29728 or memorials of choice.
Sutton Funeral Home is entrusted to serving the Plyler family.
