Dorothy R. Baker, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2022.

Mrs. Baker was born in Beaufort County, NC but had lived most of her life in the Pitt County area. She was employed with Burroughs Wellcome for a number of years as an inspector and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a good hearted, family loving woman, with a beautiful spirit.

Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Ray "Doll" Baker; brothers, Coy and Luther Rogerson; and sister, Chris Rogerson.

She is survived by her son and his wife; two sisters; a granddaughter; a great-grandson; and a nephew.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 PM in the mausoleum at Pinewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
